The Board of Directors of PACE has decided to close the PACE Office at 220 N. Sally Drive in Winamac. The office will be vacated no later than October 15, 2007. Though the office is closing, the PACE Corporation, through its board of directors, will explore future educational opportunities and support thereof for the citizens of Pulaski County. 

Programs that were previously associated with PACE will be available at the following locations:

 

GED ClassesLandmark Adult Learning Center in the Human Services Building at 115 W Pearl Street. Phone: 574-946-7119.

Adult Tutoring in ReadingLiteracy Partners of Pulaski County in the Human Services Building at 115 W Pearl Street. Leave a phone message at 574-946-7119.

Beginning and Advanced Welding ClassesPurdue Extension Office in the lower level of the County Building on Riverside Drive. A schedule of classes is available at their office for the 2007-08 school years.  Call 574-946-3412 for registration information. There are employment opportunities for welders in our area.

Computer Classes—continue to be offered at the Purdue Extension Office in the County Building on Riverside Drive. Call 574-946-3412 to sign up for a Beginning Class, Word, Excel, Publisher, or other computer training. 

Ivy Tech Classes—All classes will be held at Winamac High School. The Outreach Coordinator, Rebecca Rausch, will have office hours at the high school on Tuesdays from noon to 6 PM and Thursdays from 4 to 6 PM. You may email her at
